BODY SIGNALS ONE SHOULD NEVER IGNORE.
PSYCHOLOGICAL IMPACT OF DISEASE ON THE MIND
The human body and then human mind are interconnected and therefore any disease that affects the mind also affects the body and vice versa.
Since the body is physical the effects can be measured and chronicled whereas in the case of the mind that is not possible.
Every human mind is a unique mind and therefore the mental effects are different in each person.
In fact the effect of the same on the mind cannot be chronicled in any way.
Coming to terms on being a Diabetic is one such aspect that cannot be chronicled as everyone has different experiences and feelings.
SELF-DENIAL: The first time the doctor told that I had diabetes, this was the first emotional feeling I had. Accepting that I had a disease like Diabetes, which would change my life forever, was something that I could not come to terms with.
ANGER: The next subsequent feeling I had was anger. The moment I was diagnosed with the disease I was angry. Anger directed at my doctor, towards God, and cursing the disease for making my life miserable and painful and exaggerating me.
WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS: Food is my weakness and travelling my hobby.
The first thing that would come to my mind would be the restaurants around the place that I would be visiting!!.
With the subtle changes in the lifestyle that I needed to make, to cope with the new disease, my personality changed forever.
Over a period time I could see how slowly I began to withdraw more and more, particularly from the things I loved, namely food.
My outlook towards other things in life also started changing slowly.
I started adopting a more serious demeanor, particularly towards my diet and exercise in order to cope with my new lifestyle.
DEPRESSION: There were times when I became totally depressed with life when the disease attacked me.
The frustration started increasing with every change that made my life uncomfortable, whether it be the new diet plan, the schedules that I had to set for the diet, the time for taking insulin, etc.
The stressful feeling when thinking about the long term complications about the disease, the list went on and on.
One thing that I realized during this crucial period is the importance of having a strong support system.
This I was lucky to find within my family. As with any traumatic experience, coming to terms with a disease takes a lot of patience and a lot of support.

Lower fasting blood sugar spikes the easy way without having to worry about future health.
NICKED YOURSELF WHILE SHAVING AND THE WOUND IS NOT HEALING QUICKLY?:
